TL;DR
Evolution of consciousness and life
Hello. I am new to this forum, so be brutal.

Ive heard that C12H16N2 is within all living lifeforms, without being able to confirm this on www. Is this true? It can, for me, make sense since these are the most abundant atoms in our atmosphere, in space and under Earths crust. Where will I be able to find more information about this statement?

DMT is a controlled substance in most countries. It is found in very tiny amounts in many plants and animals, including humans.
It is primarily an hallucinogenic drug which taken straight has very little effect, it requires an MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitor) to have pharmacologic effect.

Try wikipedia's article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N,N-Dimethyltryptamine

Based on your comment your interest exceeds basic science, so this is a reasonable science answer. PF does not deal with illegal drug use. Thread closed.
