SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the philosophical question of whether it is better to be born inherently good or to overcome an evil nature through personal effort. Participants argue that overcoming evil demonstrates greater strength and understanding, as it requires grappling with the complexities of one's darker impulses. Conversely, being born good is viewed as an easier path, devoid of the internal struggle associated with evil. The conversation highlights the value of personal growth and the insights gained from overcoming one's innate tendencies.

Not sure if this is the right section TBH

What is better - to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?

I personally think it would be the latter because one who is born good cannot not truly understand the essence of evil nature, its depths and the darkness that surrounds it. Anyone who overcomes and supresses their evil nature has great deal of strength and understanding. But I guess the former has it easier because he/she doesn't have to worry about things like this.

What's your take on this?
