Blood constitutes of plasma,leucocytes,platelets,and erythrocytes.Plasma covers the major component of the blood(roughly 55%).It consists of water ,ions,plasma proteins,hormones and dissolved substances(glucose and vitamins,waste products,and respiratory gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide).So it is clear that plasma transports oxygen.
