Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around the possibility of sharing a shopping list on Amazon, specifically focusing on making previously purchased items publicly visible. Participants explore the idea of creating a new list based on past purchases and the potential for sharing it with others.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Conceptual clarification, Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • One participant inquires about making previously purchased items visible to the public.
  • Another participant seeks clarification on whether the intention is to share a list of all purchased items.
  • There is a suggestion that sharing could involve manually compiling a list from past orders, as only lists can be shared directly.
  • Some participants express a desire to reciprocate the sharing of book recommendations based on their own experiences.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants do not reach a consensus on the feasibility of sharing past purchases, and multiple views on how to approach the sharing of lists remain present.

Contextual Notes

Limitations include the unclear functionality of Amazon's sharing options and the potential need for manual compilation of lists from past orders.

I'm trying to get the items I already purchased in public view is there a way to do that? Here is my wish list, by no means complete.
It only goes back as far as 2015 but I've had this same account since 2013?

I wonder if I made a new book list based on my updated needs would a rich man buy them for and put them on a flash drive in PDF format, :-);-) one can dream.

So you want to publicly share a list of all the items you've purchased?

Yeah, I Know you guys gave me ideas with the books you have shared with me, maybe I can do the same for someone else.

hmmm from what I see you can only share your lists. I guess this would require you to manually build it from your past order list.
