Write the negation of each statement.

e) If x is in A, the f(x) is not in B

The Attempt at a Solution


I really didn't know exactly where to go with this, I tried to think what is the logical opposite to any conditional statement. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be terrific.

Nevermind, I couldn't find anything in the book about the ~(p[tex]\Rightarrow[/tex]q) statements. I finally found that it is equal to p[tex]\wedge[/tex]~q
