TL;DR
looking for academic resources and review papers regarding the theoretical mechanisms of proton decay in GUT models and current experimental lower bounds.
i've been studying proton stability and i'm particularly interested in how Grand Unified Theories (GUTs) predict baryon number violation, in contrast to the Standard Model. could you recommend some comprehensive review papers on this topic?

i’m also interested in recent experimental results (e.g., from Super-Kamiokande) and future sensitivities (DUNE / Hyper-K). in particular, i’m looking for resources that connect theoretical predictions (e.g., SU(5), SO(10)) with current experimental lower bounds on proton lifetime.

You can probably find more up-to-date info by using Google Scholar to search for articles that cite this one.

thank you so much! i've been curious about this topic for a long time. as someone self-studying physics, i really didn't know where to start looking for reliable academic sources. this paper and the summary table are incredibly helpful and exactly what i was looking for.
