I Looking for resources about tunneling effect on two delta functional barriers

Click For Summary
The discussion focuses on seeking resources about the tunneling effect in the context of two or more delta functional barriers, specifically for applications in superconductors. The user is looking for theoretical insights and literature that address this complex topic. Additionally, there is an inquiry about incorporating magnetic fields into the tunneling theory and its effects on wave functions in the regions between potential barriers. The provided Wikipedia article on double delta potential is noted but deemed insufficient for the user's needs. Comprehensive resources on these advanced topics are essential for further understanding.

Hello. I have 2 questions. First, I've read theory of tunneling effect but I need theory of two and more delta functional barriers. How do you think where can I read more about it? I need it for superconductors. And second, where can I find how to add magnetic field to theory of it? How it influence on wave function in zones between potential barriers.

I am slowly going through the book 'What Is a Quantum Field Theory?' by Michel Talagrand. I came across the following quote: One does not" prove” the basic principles of Quantum Mechanics. The ultimate test for a model is the agreement of its predictions with experiments. Although it may seem trite, it does fit in with my modelling view of QM. The more I think about it, the more I believe it could be saying something quite profound. For example, precisely what is the justification of...
