SUMMARY

This discussion focuses on recommended resources for master's degree students seeking to understand black holes, specifically through the lens of General Relativity (GR). Key texts mentioned include "Gravitation" by Misner, Thorne, and Wheeler, and "Wald's General Relativity," both of which provide comprehensive insights into black hole physics. Additionally, the free resource "Exploring Black Holes: Introduction to General Relativity" by E.F. Taylor is highlighted as an accessible introduction to the topic.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of General Relativity (GR)
  • Familiarity with advanced physics concepts
  • Basic knowledge of black hole physics
  • Ability to engage with academic texts
NEXT STEPS
  • Research "Gravitation" by Misner, Thorne, and Wheeler
  • Explore "Wald's General Relativity" for advanced GR concepts
  • Download and study "Exploring Black Holes: Introduction to General Relativity"
  • Investigate online courses or lectures on black hole physics
USEFUL FOR

Your subject line is "inflation" but your post has nothing to do with inflation. Are you sure you are using the terms you want?

I fixed it.
thanks

For a master's student in physics, I'd recommend a good GR textbook. Gravitation is pretty famous for being a great one:

Wald's General Relativity is a good GR textbook and has a good treatment of black holes.

Thank you all, I saved all of them :)
