Mathematically, Scalar [itex]V_m[/itex] Magnetic Potential is given by

[itex]\overline{H}=∇V_m[/itex]

and Vector Magnetic Potential [itex]\overline{A}[/itex] is given by

[itex]\overline{B}=\overline{∇}X\overline{A}[/itex]

Is there any way I can explain it or define it in words?

The rotational (∇xA) and the irrotational (∇V) parts.
