AI Thread Summary
A user encountered an error during a run that prevented output file generation, seeking help to correct the input file. Another participant identified the issue as a geometry error related to the placement of a point source near the interface of two cells. The original poster confirmed that this insight helped them identify their own error. The discussion highlights the importance of proper geometry setup in simulations. Resolving such errors is crucial for successful run outcomes.

Hello everyone,

trying a run I've got the following error message, and thus no output file since the run stopped by itsefl.
Please, has anyone encountered this error and would happen to know how to correct the input file ? (any hint help)

Thanks to all of you

Hi,
thanks to you, I found the error

i encountered this error too but i got ouput... i put the point source near the interface of two cells and the error arises

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a burnup calculation for a fuel assembly with repeated geometric structures using MCNP6. I have defined two materials (Material 1 and Material 2) which are actually the same material but located in different positions. However, after running the calculation with the BURN card, I am encountering an issue where all burnup information(power fraction(Initial input is 1,but output file is 0), burnup, mass, etc.) for Material 2 is zero, while Material 1...
