Too machine gun for me. Here's what I like. With visuals from the hardest driving sport. Note that in the old days the courses were a lot bumpier and had little in the way of safety equipment. Mr. Klammer said, "I was completely out of control."



The skiers make a tremendous WHOOSH as they pass by. I'd like to hear that some day but they don't allow spectators on the mountain any more. You watch on a big screen TV. Huh.

The course is a sheet of ice, partly because it's more durable. I don't know how they get a grip on it. Extremely stiff skis I bet. A reporter once borrowed Steve Maher's GS skis and said they wouldn't turn at less than 30 mph. Here are some recreational skiers making an attempt.
