Hello Physics Forums community,
I'm Peter, an independent researcher working on alternative cosmology models. My background isn't academic physics - I came to this as a passionate hobby that evolved into serious work addressing cosmological puzzles like the Hubble tension.
I've recently published initial results on Zenodo (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17261725) for a model called ESTIF (Emergent Spacetime from Inward Flow) - a classical framework using friction-driven variable H(t) as an alternative to ΛCDM. The model currently shows competitive fits to observational data (supernova χ² ~1.01, BAO/CMB χ² ~1.2).
I'm here because I know independent work needs rigorous scrutiny. I welcome critical feedback and technical challenges - that's how the work improves. My goal is eventually to publish in peer-reviewed journals and seek arXiv endorsement, but I recognize I have a lot to learn from this community first.
I approach this with genuine curiosity rather than conviction. If the model has fatal flaws, I want to know. If there are productive directions to explore, even better.
Looking forward to engaging with the discussions here.
Best,
Peter

Welcome to Physics Forums, but please note that requesting such a discussion violates the rules you agreed to follow when you joined our forum, specifically:
Speculative or Personal Theories:
Physics Forums is not intended as an alternative to the usual professional venues for discussion and review of new ideas, e.g. personal contacts, conferences, and peer review before publication. If you have a new theory or idea, this is not the place to look for feedback on it or to ask for help developing and publishing it.

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
