What is nano particle?

Physics news on Phys.org
a nanoparticle refers to a particle around the order of (10 to the power of -9/10^-9) meters, or in the order of a nanometer.

By the way, when people talk about "particle physics" they usually mean elementary particles like electrons, protons, pions, muons, quarks, etc.
