Can anyone tell me the physical law which is behind certain physical effects?

1. Resonance
2. Adhesion
3. Heat strain
4. Lever effect
5. Surface tension
6. Cutting/Bending
7. Evaporation
8. sublimation
9. Weissenburg effect
10. Torsion

It would be really helpful for my research. Thank you.

example: Physical law behind Linear acceleration is Newton's law of motion (or) Law behind Static friction is Amonton's law and Coulumb's law.

This sounds a bit like some homework task. Why not Google around each term and soak up some useful information? You'll get much more out of doing it that way than by getting a list of answers from someone else.
