Quantum Mechanics of charge-monopole system

  1. Sep 17, 2014 #1
Hi , I am having a presentation on QM charge monopole system at the end of November as a requirement for my course. I need some good resource on it to dig in as my instructor left it in our hand. so kindly suggest me some good things to start on .

for your information, I am in final year of my undergrad. and I want to make it like a paper that I can publish later on

    regards

The original papers by Dirac are marvelous to read and very understandable:

    P. A. M. Dirac, Quantised Singularities in the Electromagnetic Field, Proc. Roy. Soc. A 133, 60 (1931), http://www.jstor.org/stable/95639

    P. A. M. Dirac, Theory of Magnetic Poles, Phys. Rev. 74, 817 (1948), http://link.aps.org/abstract/PR/v74/i7/p817

A more modern point of view is provided in

    T. T. Wu and C. N. Yang, Concept of nonintegrable phase factors and global formulation of gauge fields, Phys. Rev. D 12, 3845 (1975),
