Engaging with these texts over the summer will provide a solid groundwork for the upcoming courses.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of quantum mechanics principles
  • Familiarity with mathematical concepts used in physics
  • Knowledge of classical mechanics
  • Ability to read and comprehend advanced scientific texts
NEXT STEPS
  • Read the first few chapters of "Griffiths" to build foundational knowledge
  • Explore "Gasiorowicz" for alternative perspectives on quantum mechanics
  • Research supplementary materials on quantum mechanics problem-solving techniques
  • Look into online courses or lectures on introductory quantum mechanics

Hey

I will be taking Quantum Mechanics 1 and 2 next year, and I am free until the end of the summer. The professor is going to use either Griffiths or Gasiorowicz. Do you recommend an easy book that I can go through until the end of the summer that would make my life easier when I take the actual courses?

Thanks for your help!
