1. Homework Statement
what is the relationship between the magnitudes of the forces exerted and the lever arm distance over which the force were exerted?

2. Homework Equations
3. The Attempt at a Solution
the force and distance are directly related because T (torque) = F times (lever arm)

There is no relationship.

what?? why1? is it because the force has to be perpendicular to the center of rotation?

No.
It is because if you have a lever of a certain length, you can apply whatever force upon it. A tiny force or a huge force, your choice.
