Iron Butterfly's iconic album In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida was one of the first rock albums I bought during the early 70s. It contrasted somewhat with my collection of classical music albums like those of Beethoven's symphonies.

The eponymous main track, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, was a great tune with Dorman's bass line with Erik Brann's lead guitar, Doug Ingle's organ, and Ron Bushy's drums. Bushy's solo became a classic and inspired many drummers.
