hi
is theta used in degree or radians in Scherrer's equation..

Physics news on Phys.org
What appears is not ##\theta## but ##\cos \theta##. It should be rather clear how this is to be interpreted.

we need to take cosine of "THETA". Is it measured in degrees or radian,,, what is think is theta is in degrees, but confused...

Do you understand what the cosine function does?

YESS! actually I'm analyzing XRD results, from Origin Software... to find FWHM this theta is required...
