SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the need for supplementary resources to resolve exercises in supersymmetry and supergravity from the book "Supersymmetry and Supergravity" by Bailin and Love. Users recommend several key texts, including "Supersymmetry in Particle Physics" by Aitchison, "Modern Supersymmetry" by Terning, and volume 3 of Weinberg's series. Additionally, exercises 3.4-3.5 from "An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory" by Peskin and Schroeder are highlighted as valuable for self-education in this complex field.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of supersymmetry (SUSY) concepts
  • Familiarity with supergravity (SUGRA) principles
  • Basic knowledge of quantum field theory
  • Experience with problem-solving in theoretical physics
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore solutions for exercises in "Supersymmetry and Supergravity" by Bailin and Love
  • Study "Supersymmetry in Particle Physics" by Aitchison for foundational concepts
  • Review "Modern Supersymmetry" by Terning for advanced topics
  • Analyze exercises 3.4-3.5 in "An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory" by Peskin and Schroeder
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for students and researchers in theoretical physics, particularly those focusing on supersymmetry and supergravity, as well as anyone seeking to enhance their understanding through problem-solving resources.

HI,

Sorry if this questions should have gone to other section, but since it involves supersymmetry I posted it here.

I can't resolve some exercises on supersymmetry and supergravity from Bailin/Love's book - so don't you know if there is some sort of solutions book to those exercises or some SUSY/SUGRA textbooks where I can find solutions to exercises? It will great help me for self education. There are some exercises and I can't resolve them and I don't know whom to ask.

Thanks

I put in my basket Aitchison "Supersymmetry in Particle Physics" and Terning "Modern Supersymmetry". I think that vol. 3 of Weinberg is useful. And I like the small exercises 3.4-3.5 in Peskin Schroeder.
