When considering a career in pharmacy or medicine in Turkey, it's crucial to evaluate the specific regulations and licensure requirements of the Eastern European countries where you plan to settle. Your current university degree and field of study, as well as any relevant medical experience, will significantly influence your options. Additionally, strong memorization skills are essential for success in either field. Researching the similarities between your training and the local requirements can facilitate the licensing process. Ultimately, careful planning and understanding of each country's regulations will guide your decision.

So, suppose that I went abroad, and I plan to settle in Eastern Europe eventually, so, which option is more viable??

Welcome to PF.

What university degree do you have already? What is your field of study?

Do you have any experience in medicine? What kind of Patient Contacts have you had so far (in volunteer work, first aid work, etc.)? How good are you at memorizing things?

You should first develop a list of candidate countries in which you plan to practice. Then find out the regulations in each of those countries concerning licensure for practice in medicine and pharmacy if you are not a citizen and if you received your training elsewhere. Compare the difficulties.

To add to @CrysPhys ' reply, it is very important to look at the requirements of the country or countries in which you plan to work. In the US, you will find that most non-native nurses are from India or the Philippines. Why those two countries? Because their programs closely parallel that of the US, which makes it easier to become licensed.

For some background, I'm currently a 3rd year physics major with an astro specialization studying in Canada, and as undergraduates are want to do I'm regularly evaluating my career prospects down the road. I also plan on pursuing grad school when I've completed my degree. It might just be my anxiety acting up a little, but with a lot of the government funding drying up for public science research broadly in the US, the 'industry' everyone keeps talking about when questions like this are...
Hello Physics Forums Community, I'm hoping to draw upon the community's collective wisdom regarding a procedural challenge that I believe many independent researchers face. I'm working on a self-contained theoretical framework from a foundational starting point. The work touches upon concepts from general relativity, quantum foundations, and cosmology, attempting to connect them based on a single relational principle. It has now reached a point, where some parameter free values seemingly...
