SolidWorks worm reducer analysis tutorial needed

In summary, the speaker has calculated their gear ratio and determined that a worm drive is the most suitable reducer for their project. However, they are having trouble finding tutorials for constructing and analyzing the gears on SolidWorks. They ask for help and mention that this project may require a college-level course of study. The speaker clarifies that they are designing a reducer for their assembly robot arm.

I've calculated my gear ratio to be 1:27 and the most suitable reducer for it would be a worm drive.
I couldn't find any descriptive tutorials to do the mesh and perform constructional analysis of the gears on SolidWorks. Can you help me?

What you're describing might take an entire college-level course of study. Is this being done for a senior design project?

Really? Is it that complex? I just thought to design a reducer to finish up my assembly robot arm.

1. What is SolidWorks worm reducer analysis?

SolidWorks worm reducer analysis is a process that uses SolidWorks software to analyze and evaluate the performance and design of worm reducers, which are mechanical devices used to reduce the rotational speed and increase the torque of a motor. This analysis helps engineers and designers to optimize the design for maximum efficiency and functionality.
