Solving for Y: 9/4 - 3.3/2 = -9/4

the Q y = 9/4 - 3.3/2

the answer = -9/4

but when i try to solve i don't dounf same the answer

9/4 - 3 . 3/2
9/4 + 9 / 2

18 + 36 / 8 = 22.5

this answer which I found

You changed a sign by mistake in your working

= 9/4 - 3(3/2)
= 9/4 - 9/2
= -9/4
