While checking wikipedia about Hully Gully, Big Bo, and "Feelin' Good", I found info telling that Wooly Bully derived from Hully Gully Now, and something about something coming from Little Junior's Feelin Good. So I found THIS reminds me way way too much of Kub Coda's Martian Boogie.

Little Junior's Blue Flames, "Feelin' Good"

Martian Boogie

(edit: Thanks for the title-fix.)

This happens sometimes in the Music industry. The management wants more of the same, only different, and the artists comply by enhancing a prior song.

The one I remember was "Don't Rock the Boat" and its sister song, "No Parking on the Dance Floor," which sounded suspiciously alike.

There was also the Fogerty case, where he wrote a song The Old Man Down the Road (1985) that sounded very similar to Run Through the Jungle (1969). Fogerty wrote both, but another person owned Run Through the Jungle rights when Fogerty was a member of the Creedence Clearwater Revival band. The music label sued Fogerty for copyright infringement.

The jury ruled that a person can't plagiarize themselves, saying you can't be barred from sounding like yourself. Fogerty won.
