TL;DR Summary
Looking for any info on subquantum kinetics and Paul Laviolette? His credentials seem legitimate, but ...
Is there any evidence to support the idea of subquantum kinetics and alternative it provides to the Big Bang? Most publications which touch on it seem to link back to Dr. LaViolette so that seems odd to me. Has this idea been disproven or is there a chance this is a Continental Drift, Alfred Wegener situation where someone has an idea that may yet gain support, but the evidence just isn't there yet? Sorry if this is a silly question, but this seemed like the best place to get this type of info.

The problem with "they laughed at the Wright Brothers" is that they also laughed at the Three Stooges.

I have a hard time trusting people who wear hats indoors that are meant to block the sun. What do they know that I don't know...

This is an alert about a claim regarding the standard model, that got a burst of attention in the past two weeks. The original paper came out last year: "The electroweak η_W meson" by Gia Dvali, Archil Kobakhidze, Otari Sakhelashvili (2024) The recent follow-up and other responses are "η_W-meson from topological properties of the electroweak vacuum" by Dvali et al "Hiding in Plain Sight, the electroweak η_W" by Giacomo Cacciapaglia, Francesco Sannino, Jessica Turner "Astrophysical...
