The discussion centers on the concept of telepathy, with participants debating its validity and connection to empathy. Some argue that telepathy, defined as the transfer of thoughts or feelings between minds without sensory communication, lacks scientific evidence and is often dismissed as pseudoscience. Others share personal anecdotes and historical accounts that suggest telepathic experiences, such as feeling alarm about a loved one in danger or instances of premonitions. The conversation highlights the tension between qualitative experiences and quantitative evidence, with some advocating for an open mind regarding telepathy despite skepticism. Ultimately, the dialogue reflects a broader curiosity about the nature of consciousness and communication beyond conventional means.

Wow, I was thinking the same thing about that post just this morning. Gee, Njorl, we must be telepathically linked!

I truly was thinking about it, perhaps proof I don't have a life? :frown:

Yes we must be blind since we don't believe unsubstantiated claims made by some person on the internet.

Where do you get your information about bugs. Does this require a meeting?

Also, he wasn't locked in the sort of closet we think of as a closet today. It was "a monarch's or official's private chamber". Could well have been quite roomy.
