The discussion revolves around a fictional shop where everything is humorously priced at £1 or $2. Participants engage in playful banter about the shop's offerings, including whimsical items like false teeth, a Rolls Royce Ghost, and even a wild ram. The conversation features jokes about the absurdity of the pricing and the shop's name, "The Give Away Shop," prompting questions about its meaning. There are light-hearted exchanges about personal experiences with bikes and the idea of selling unusual items, such as "sky hooks" and "10,000 washer holes." The tone remains jovial, with participants teasing each other and making absurd requests, all while maintaining the theme of the shop's quirky inventory.

The commet was single cylinder, bikes were my life, but metal inserts sort of
made it difficult.

Ahh, get you (I think). I'd absolutely love to have a quick bike, but I'm almost certain that I'd kill myself (or someone else) within a year or so. Probably best stick to cars.

AdrianBaker, I believe, is a biker, and a competitive one at that.

Brewy, you can not live until you have experianced riding a fast british bike,
the 100 mph was a target, for these oily un reliable death traps, but we had

I don't need any encouragement, really. It's a matter of self restraint. Maybe I'll get one when I hit 40, and have a bit more road sense, and less of a future. Meanwhile, I have plans for a Caterham 7 style kit.

Well ok old pal, but be sure to wrap up warm.

Almost forgot where I was for a second there!

Can I please have a Triumph Sprint ST for £1?

And a souped-up ambulance, with dedicated crew to follow me round all day, for another £1?

And a Caterham 7, for another £1?

And a really warm scarf?

If you'd opted for the Viagra instead, you'd still be able to sit on one.
