The Internal Consistency of Collapsing Realities

AI Thread Summary
The manga/comic project focuses on the concept of "collapsing of realities," where different time periods coexist and create glitches in reality, incorporating elements of quantum mechanics, string theory, and wormholes. While the premise may seem implausible from a scientific perspective, the emphasis should be on creating a coherent internal logic within the story rather than adhering strictly to real-world physics. This approach allows for creative storytelling while maintaining a sense of believability within the fictional universe.

Currently I am working on a manga/comic of mine which imvolves science, especially stuff related to quantum mechanics. The theme of my manga is based on the 'collapsing of realities'...i.e, realities from different timescales would collapse at one place and try to exist at once, which would create the 'glitching' of realities. For example, a place will have an area from 1940s and another area from the 18th century...which would somehow include string theory and a wormhole. Yes, this might sound absurd but I really found it cool. However, I want my story to sound more believable...
So, could anybody help me make a sense out of it? Also tell me if it's actually possible or not?(I know it sounds almost impossible, but still) If yes, then what could be the possible and believable. Thanks! :)

It is, sad to say, completely not possible and cannot be made believable. That doesn't mean that you can't make a good story out of it, but you'll be better served working on internal consistency rather than trying for consistency with any real physics.

Oh... alright. Thank you very much for replying as soon as you could.
Internal consistency as in?

I'm looking to pick the brains for a fantasy story of someone who knows a little about how ancient aquatic reptiles (~65Mya) might have migrated to breeding grounds in ancient Atlantic Ocean and its shores. The premise is that such creatures, last seen 65 million years ago, managed to survive through the ages on the shores of mid-Atlantic islands - now gone - and ended up in (relatively) modern times. The questions are mostly about how their migration patterns for breeding might have...
We've just had an interesting thread about generation ships, but I don't think that that is the most reasonable way to colonize another planet. Fatal problems: - Crew may become chaotic and self destructive. - Crew may become so adapted to space as to be unwilling to return to a planet. - Making the planet habitable may take longer then the trip, so the ship needs to last far longer than just the journey. - Mid-flight malfunction may render the ship unable to decelerate at the destination...
I know this topic is extremely contraversial and debated, but I'm writing a book where an AI attempts to become as human as possible. Would it, eventually, especially in the far future, be possible for an AI to gain a conscious? To be clear, my definition of a consciousness being the ability to possess self-created morals, thoughts, and views, AKA a whole personality. And if this is possible (and let's just say it is for this question), about how long may it take for something to happen...
