Universal Constants: Books for Laymen about Observable Effects

Click For Summary
Books like "Universe in a Nutshell" by Stephen Hawking and "Warped Passages" by Lisa Randall explore observable effects related to our four-dimensional universe and its interaction with higher dimensions. These works discuss concepts such as gravity's potential to transcend branes, making complex theories accessible to lay readers. Other recommended titles include "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene and "Flatland" by Edwin A. Abbott, which also address dimensionality in an engaging manner. Readers seek resources that simplify advanced topics while providing insights into the universe's structure and behavior. Such literature enhances understanding of the cosmos and its fundamental principles.

Are there any books, written for the layman, which talk about observable effects that might be caused by our 5 (4 + time) dimensional portion of the universe moving through the larger universe. "Universe in a Nutshell" -Hawking, talks about how gravity may transend branes. Are there others?
