In summary, these are fake teeth that are attached with a fixed bar and that are meant to be worn for looks only. They are made of semi-precious metal and they are nickel-free. The advantages of wearing them are that they are safe for the teeth and they are different from other companies.

OK, I have a weird curiosity about this. How do these things stay on? Does a dentist cement them on permanently?

Looks like they would be very hard to chew with.

Looks like an invitation to trapping acidic/sugary/salty/rotting bits of food between bling and teeth, so teeth will fall apart faster. Good deal for the "dentist", I guess, if he can live with his choices.

... Although the more popular styles are the removable fronts, some opt for permanent teeth replacements.

With permanents, according to Starlight Manufacturing Inc.'s website, the tooth is shaved down significantly in order to place the crown properly and if it is removed, causes trauma to the tooth and area.

Dr. Dondre Simpson, a general dentist and a member of the National Dental Association, said, "they rot your teeth. Licensed dentists create a crown or bridge made a certain way by a dental lab and it is followed by specific instructions. [Grills] are not done professionally by dentists and it's crap what I see."

Dr. Hazel Harper, a past president of the National Dental Association, warns that, "there has to be a vital consideration of how the replacement is fitted so there is no room for decay or bacteria."

Although removable fronts do not pose a health risk, some students are more concerned with the appropriateness of wearing a grill. [continued]

Just the really savvy salemen at the flea market. "Either pay me or leave them here - and you don't want me to help you take them out!"

Well, if my teeth looked like the ones in the caricature, I'd probably go for Grillz, too.

I've seen them snap on like a dental dam that you wear to prevent clinching or grinding.

How grillz are held in place

Grillz can be permanently bonded to the teeth by a dentist or you can get instant http://www.ballersice.com" which are removable and are held in place by a special silicon "fixing bar" which molds to the teeth when placed in hot water.

A very practical application. :approve:

1. What are grillz and how are they made?

Grillz are decorative gold or diamond teeth that are worn as a fashion statement. They are typically made by taking a mold of the person's teeth and then creating a custom piece of jewelry to fit over the teeth.

2. How long do grillz last?

The longevity of grillz depends on the quality of materials used and how well they are cared for. High-quality gold or diamond grillz can last for many years with proper care and maintenance.

3. Are grillz safe for your teeth?

While grillz may not cause any harm to your teeth if worn for short periods of time, they can potentially cause damage if worn for extended periods. It is important to consult with a dentist before getting grillz and to follow proper hygiene practices while wearing them.

4. Can I eat and drink with grillz on?

It is not recommended to eat or drink with grillz on, as this can damage the jewelry and potentially harm your teeth. It is best to remove them before consuming food or beverages.

5. How do I clean and maintain my grillz?

To clean your grillz, use a soft-bristled toothbrush and a mild soap or jewelry cleaner. It is important to also remove any food particles or plaque from your teeth before putting the grillz back on. Store them in a clean, dry place when not wearing them to prevent tarnishing.
