Huguette Clark, daughter of Las Vegas founder and second richest man in the US at his time, William Clark (Rockefeller bested him) is dead, at 104 years old.

It is said that compared to her, Howard Hughes was an outgoing&sociable man..

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/may/25/huguette-clark-manhattan-recluse-diesCompletely unrelated, it has a certain historical charm that her father was born in..1839, and Mark Twain said of him:

"He is as rotten a human being as can be found anywhere under the flag; he is a shame to the American nation, and no one has helped to send him to the Senate who did not know that his proper place was the penitentiary, with a ball and chain on his legs. To my mind he is the most disgusting creature that the republic has produced since Tweed's time."

Boss Tweed I assume. Not that I actually remember who he is...

Is he the guy who made a fortune out of selling tumbleweed?
