I mostly find them in trance (specifically on the label Anjunabeats) but I'm sure they're everywhere. For me it's mostly female voices that hit the spot (which perhaps may have something to do with orientation who knows) but I know there are male vocalists out there who are just as good.

This is taking longer time to digest. Had to get rid of guests first. They're sadly devoid of culture.

But yeah. Man what a voice dear Olga has!

Reminds me of this one (which I'm sure I've shared somewhere before):

I drove my little sister to church where she sang in the choir and they were singing this part of Händel's Messiah. I was so impressed I had to search through umpteen versions on youtube before I finally found this one. Ironically, the male singer lost one of his testicles which made his voice higher. I don't know what, if anything, that says about me.

Eurythmics - There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart)

Eurythmics -Here Comes The Rain Again (Remastered)

Zero 7 - Home (Official Video) ft. Tina Dico (darn, it's such a good song with lovely vocals )

Two more great songs with lovely female vocals :

Massive Attack - Teardrop (otherworldly , thanks to Elizabeth Fraser)

Everything But The Girl - Missing (lovely song, I've always adored it  )

Edit: This remix of the song is great too, in my opinion:

Everything But The Girl - Missing (Todd Terry Remix)

Ok, one more... this is one that is not well known at all I think...
...so hopefully a surprise for you guys...
...it's a remix of a trance track, and I think the remix is MUCH better than the original, actually!

Alex M.O.R.P.H ft. Ana Criado - Sunset Boulevard (Purple Acoustic Mix) - sublime, I love it .

The original is here, very, very upbeat and trancey. It's good, but I definitely prefer the remix above.

I know this is instrumental and as is symptomatic for trance it takes some time for the real essence of the track to appear. Often more than half through the track, but then you're really rewarded. Mat Zo's tracks usuallly follow this pattern but I find most of them, especially Back in Time / Millenia and Near The End / Land of the Free are worth it. It's oldskool though, admittedly:

EDIT: I've collected this stuff as pirated scene releases for so many years that if i start the psytrance folder alone it takes it 3 years to repeat itself!

EDIT2: Although many tracks doubles as both "vinyl" "cd" "singles" etc. (mostly in lossless format).

EDIT3: And thanks to Moore's law all my external HDDs can now be replaced by small 1TB USB pens.

Sounds good! 🙂

Have you heard this one?
This is one of my all time favorite instrumental electro/trancey songs.
The synths are so god darn cool in it!
And I'd like to get up and dance like a lunatic whenever I hear it.

Nice one! Now afraid I'm regressing into 90's territory here, but Massimo Vivona has always been one of my favorite artists, though I'm afraid we're out of trance and into techno (as in the genre, like "electronic" or "house", not what clueless people generally call EDM):

As with trance it takes some time to build up. Even longer for techno I'm afraid. The magic happens after the 5:00 mark (although you kinda need the buildup). At that point this morning techno track becomes almost tactile/tangible/haptic... words fail me....

EDIT: And I'm genuinely sorry for kinda hijacking (my own) thread about "vocals to fall in love with", but it seems to be taking on it's own life... :woot:

EDIT!: Warcry is a good one too.

I once had a radio station that played techno to wake me up in the morning. But I had to recognize that only my heartbeat synchronized, and I slept even deeper.
