SUMMARY

The Loops05 conference is set to be videotaped, allowing attendees to access all talks online. Key discussions include Lee Smolin's insights on significant advancements in loop quantum gravity, such as Rovelli's derivation of the graviton propagator and the emergence of classical spacetime from background independent theories. Notable contributions from researchers like Freidel, Livine, and Markopoulou highlight the evolving landscape of quantum gravity research. The community is encouraged to engage with JB's lecture notes and share updates on video availability.

We can expect videos of these and other talks to be available at the Loops website. I heard indirectly that the conference organizers plan to have videos up at the site by beginning of next week.

sounds like a lot of work for the staff at AEI. hope it's not too much of a burden. I guess the thing to do is just check at the above links every so often to see if video files have appeared.
