Hey Everyone,

I'm in grade 12 and I've been told different things about engineering at Waterloo and UFT.

I'm considering environmental or mechatronics engineering at waterloo
And mechanical or civil engineering at UFT

Which University would you recommend and why?
(i.e. the atmosphere is better, the teachers are really enthusiastic/helpful, the programs are really good, etc)

Thanks, The Tinman

I recommend U of T because it has the best physics and mathematics program in Ontario. That is why I am picking U of T over Waterloo.

They are both very reputable for engineering in Ontario, I'd say Waterloo has a higher ranked undergraduate degree in engineering. But really you have to visit each school and decide which you'd feel more comfortable. Waterloo has one of the best coop programs in the world and will push you a little harder than say other Ontario universities. In the end all the accredited universities in Ontario will teach their students the same material.

If you care about the atmosphere then go to Waterloo.
