Criminals target one another. If you steal from a bank robber or drug dealer he can't go to the cops.

Mike Johns was on his way to the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix last Monday when the self-driving car got stuck circling a roundabout in a parking lot.

He described what was going through his head as it circled: "If we got to the tenth loop, do I need to jump into the driver's seat?... What happens next? Because the car is still in control. I could bench press 300-plus, but am I able to control this?"

With those effects, who needs Fire and Brimstone!
What makes this particularly fascinating is there seems to be no known natural source of radiation that could explain this. This chart on time to vomiting vs exposure to radiation suggests a very high dose based on the report. Very strange!

Why in the hell would firefighters drive around a train stop gate arm?

No one killed luckily.

First it was Cocaine Bear in the US, then Cocaine Sharks in Brazil, and now...

Rats are consuming drugs that were seized and stored by Houston police and hundreds of cases could be vulnerable to the rodent infestation, officials said.

It's an issue that has prompted the district attorney to alert defense attorneys in more than 3,600 open drug-related cases, although only one active case has been impacted by the rodents.

"Just one example, we've got 400,000 pounds of marijuana in storage that the rats are the only ones enjoying," Houston Mayor John Whitmire said Friday at a news conference.

Joshua Reiss, general counsel at the Harris County District Attorney, said the rodents also got into packaging containing mushrooms.

Doesn't that set the stage for a Hunter S. Thompson story, "A horde of crazed rats, tripping on mushrooms took over the Seargent's desk at ..."

And they paid the expenses?
Not sure about the funding, the trip was paid for IIRC. What is interesting is that one of the leading flat earthers who went reported back to his community to admit defeat as he witnessed 4 days of continuous sun above the horizon.
They all said similar but he has now backed away from the flat earth "model"
Fair play to him, he seemed sincere and said he was wrong publicly.
However, he has now been called a liar by his own community and all sorts of crazy explanations have come out regarding the footage.

Perhaps they need to fly a few more of them out there. While they are at it, I totally do not accept the concept of New York.
Jazz clubs, five star hotels, Iconic architecture, libraries and museums? Come on.
Fly me out there for a couple of weeks then I will buy it. I can make room middle of May and I can free up most of September.
Business class please, I am allergic to children.

You could fly a thousand of them down there and it wouldn't matter.

The movie "Don't look up" really captured the essence of the times.

The guys that went changed their minds. The preparation was good, multiple cameras and camera angles including a drone live streamed.

And in no time at all the cult back at the ranch was already dismissing their claims.

One thing I learned at PF is that nothing is more fleeting than the facts. It is said that lies travel 10x faster than the truth, on the internet.

Its a start.

These guys are not going to invade Poland and annex the Sudetenland but we do not want our kids thinking it's a thing because it's on the net.

They vote. QED.

I agree it's a problem but simply throwing facts around is useless. The problem is far deeper than that.

Interestingly, it is the same problem found in the world of UAPs/UFOs. No one can ever prove something wasn't faked. Claims might be falsified but nothing can ever be absolutely proven to be true.

Look Ivan, we can sit back and do nothing or try and explain why the earth ain't flat occasionally.
Same with Creationism.
We cannot have this seeping into school curriculums.

Too late. Seven states require, allow, or are working to include the Bible or religion as part of a public education.

My theory is I somehow slipped into an alternate reality. I don't recognize this place.
