What are some ideas for an Advance Higher Physics investigation?

Next year I have to do and Investigation for Advance higher physics. I was wandering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do it on. I don't want it to be as basic as measuring the refractive index but not as hard as to split and Atom.

Iwould like to here anyones ideas.

Construct a tabletop particle accelerator and do some experiment with it. Always fun.
