SUMMARY

The bond angles for Clozapine, also known as Clozaril, are not readily available in standard literature, leading to challenges for students and researchers. Users recommend utilizing molecular modeling tools such as MOPAC, GAUSSIAN, or 3D viewers to visualize and calculate the bond angles effectively. These tools allow for the representation of the molecular structure in three dimensions, aiding in the understanding of Clozapine's geometry. Accessing free downloads and chemical structure resources online can further assist in this endeavor.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of molecular geometry
  • Familiarity with chemical modeling software like MOPAC or GAUSSIAN
  • Knowledge of 3D molecular visualization techniques
  • Access to chemical structure databases
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore the functionalities of MOPAC for molecular modeling
  • Learn how to use GAUSSIAN for computational chemistry simulations
  • Research 3D molecular visualization tools and their applications
  • Investigate online resources for chemical structure databases
USEFUL FOR

Chemistry students, researchers in pharmacology, and anyone involved in drug design and molecular modeling will benefit from this discussion.

Hi, I'm doing a chemistry project, where we have to build a drug. My group chose Clozaipne (or Clozaril), and we have trouble finding the actual bond angles for the compound. I swear, we looked at dozens and dozens of books, websites, encyclopedias, etc... no luck

I was wondering if you guys know of any websites resources etc. that has any information on this compound...

Thanks so much in advance..

Look here. You can search the internet for "free downloads' and 'structure chemical' and get a free 3d viewer. Draw your molecule and use the MM or MM2 or MOPAC or GAUSSIAN functions to represent it in 3D.
