Fresh peaches from a road-side stand in south Georgia. Incredible! Need to wear a bib and bring a towel.Chi Meson said:Two amazing fruit experiences in my life:
1: fresh oranges bought at a roadside stand in Florida,
2: fresh pineapple bought at a roadside stand in Hawaii
It's a different product completely compared to the store-bought fruit. I only eat canned pineapple here in CT to remind me of the experience I once had, but it's only like a photograph. Tastes like a photograph too.
Sometimes roadside stands/farmer's markets have fruit/veggies even worse than supermarket junk, but that's the exception. If I have any travel advice for people out there, it's "stop at roadside stands."
