Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around the potential impact of sun exposure on children, although the conversation diverges into various tangential topics, including perceptions of Stephen Hawking and visual representations.

Discussion Character

  • Debate/contested
  • Meta-discussion

Main Points Raised

  • Some participants express opinions on the appearance of Stephen Hawking, suggesting that it may be perceived as "creepy" due to his condition, with one participant attributing this perception to physics.
  • There are comments about the need for sun exposure, with one participant suggesting that Hawking "needs to get some sun," while another humorously speculates about the children in a picture having had enough sun.
  • Participants engage in a light-hearted exchange about the implications of sun exposure and its representation in media, though the relevance to the original topic remains unclear.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants do not reach a consensus on the implications of sun exposure, and the discussion appears to remain unresolved, with multiple competing views on the topic of appearance and health.

Contextual Notes

The discussion lacks a clear focus on the scientific aspects of sun exposure and its effects on children, with many comments veering into personal opinions and unrelated topics.

Kind of reminds me of the psycho Karl in "the Cell" when he was in character as the king of his demented fantasy land, disemboweling the detective.

Sure is.

My aunt thinks Hawking looks creepy. She attritutes it to physics.

Anyway, pretty much the same discussion...

Indeed.
I am sure you'd be able to dig up a picture of a pope looking like Santa Claus, but I'm not the one to go on such a picture hunt.

He looks creepy.

So does Stephen Hawking..

And not to the fact that virtually all the motor neurons in his body are shot to hell? Or does she attribute that to physics?

Since the two children evidently* has had enough of that, perhaps it is sun-energy he is grabbing after??
