AI Thread Summary
The issue with the HP2515 printer involves a protrusion inside the printer that blocks the paper during printing, causing it to crumple. This protrusion appears to raise up and obstruct the paper feed, but can be pressed down manually. Potential causes include a stray piece of broken plastic or a malfunctioning paper guide. Users are advised to ensure the correct paper size is set for printing, as this may also contribute to the problem. A temporary solution suggested is to tape the protrusion down to prevent it from interfering with the printing process. For further assistance, HP manuals are available for reference.

What is it? Why does it raise up and block the paper when I am printing? I can press it down after blocking. But it raised up and block the paper when attempting to print again.

Thanks in advance to those who can help.

A stray bit of broken plastic ? Can you pull it out easily ?

Could be a Paper Guide.
Check that you have specified the correct size paper to print on.

How does the paper guide work in your printer? I thought it was a differential device.

Thread 'Urgent: Physically repair - or bypass - power button on Asus laptop'
Asus Vivobook S14 flip. The power button is wrecked. Unable to turn it on AT ALL. We can get into how and why it got wrecked later, but suffice to say a kitchen knife was involved: These buttons do want to NOT come off, not like other lappies, where they can snap in and out. And they sure don't go back on. So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
