How did you find PF?
PF came to my attention some time ago... I don't remember when.
Hi everyone!

I'm a gardener with a background in math & physics (undergrad level). My interests range from politics to science, the latter becoming preeminent as politics feels more and more depressing to me. Also I love music (mostly electronic, experimental, new wave).

I spent time some years ago on brilliant.org doing some recreational math and problem solving (some would say that math are always recreational ). Currently I switched to cosmology, reading and watching courses on the matter.

In essence, I'm an amateur and a dilettante.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
