Probably either UF or FSU depending on your interests. Florida is probably the better overall programs.

Edit: I should add that my response is a VERY naive answer. You may find that other schools are very strong in some particular specialty you are interested in. Your mileage may vary.

UF and FSU are very much the best schools in Florida. Although I can't speak for FSU, UF is a powerhouse in research and have plently of opportunities. They also have a decent math program if you're interested in taking a few math classes like analysis for physical scientists.

I'm a bit biased when I tell you this but don't go to UM.

Agreed, I know people who have graduated from each and I have a friend who goes to FSU. Both are excellent.
