AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the workplaces of the world's most influential physicists, highlighting that they can be found in various settings, including universities, private firms, and government agencies. There is a humorous suggestion that some may work in top-secret locations, engaging in groundbreaking research on concepts like time machines and warp holes. However, it is noted that truly renowned physicists are unlikely to be in secretive roles, as their contributions need to be publicly recognized. The conversation also touches on the idea of advanced technologies, such as anti-gravity machines and higher dimensions, with playful references to organizations like NASA and fictional programs like the Stargate. Overall, the dialogue blends serious inquiry with lighthearted speculation about the nature of physicists' work.

Of course, if they work in top-secret places, they really aren't the most well-known physicists. Afterall, if they told you what they do, they'd have to kill you...kind of makes it hard to spread the word about their greatness.

Top physicsts would probably work at top schools.
