Hello!
Just a question that I could not find in the Help section.
I started writing a post in one of the forums, but since it was too late I saved it with the "Save draft" function (the floppy disk icon on the right) and went to sleep... Ok, now I am unable to find WHERE the draft has been saved! I expected to find some menu like "Saved Drafts", "Edit Draft", "Resume Draft" or the like... nothing! :oldeek:
Where is my saved draft???? :oldconfused:

It should be there in the edit box of the thread you were posting in (you may need to refresh the page). I believe they are overwritten by any other post you start in that same thread, and I don't think they stay there forever (maybe a week or ten days?) even if saved.

If you saved last night (which is what I think you said), go back to the thread and refresh it. Hopefully the draft will be there.

I'm afraid not. Before posting here for help, I went back to that page after clearing the browser's cache, and there was nothing to see. I had not written other posts in the meantime, there or in other forums, and it was only 1 day later (started writing last night / resumed today)...

Strange. I've just been doing some tests and it seems to work for me.

I'd suggest posting a link to the thread here and seeing if @Greg Bernhardt or @berkeman can look behind the scenes. But it may be gone.

Don't worry, now switching off for the saturday's house chores, then will start over again, it's not a big deal. But good to know for the next time
