The discussion centers on choosing between the Agilent 16900 and 16800 logic analyzers, highlighting their similar functions but differing formats, with the 16900 being modular and the 16800 portable. Users are encouraged to consider their specific project needs and the availability of add-ons for each model. The potential for mixed signal projects is mentioned, particularly regarding the 16900's compatibility with oscilloscope plug-ins. Overall, the decision should be based on future project requirements and functionality. Selecting the right logic analyzer is crucial for effective project execution.

Dear everyone,

I am planning to buy a logic analyzer machine, I had some research between 2 of them, they kind of have the same functions, but 16900 is logic analyzer modules and 16800 is logic analyzer portable.

anyone has experiences or been used them before, please give me some suggestion, which one is better?

Thank you,
Regards,
Nate Duong.

What kind of projects do you intend to use the logic analyzer on? I would look into what add-ons are available for each analyzer, and think about what projects you might use them for in the future. For example, does the 16900 have an oscilloscope plug-in for mixed signal projects?

Thread 'I thought it was only Amazon that sold unsafe junk'
I grabbed an under cabinet LED light today at a big box store. Nothing special. 18 inches in length and made to plug several lights together. Here is a pic of the power cord: The drawing on the box led me to believe that it would accept a standard IEC cord which surprised me. But it's a variation of it. I didn't try it, but I would assume you could plug a standard IEC cord into this and have a double male cord AKA suicide cord. And to boot, it's likely going to reverse the hot and...
