If you don't currently own their live CD "On the Night" get it! I hesitated because I owned every other CD, and all the songs were covered by studio versions. I'm glad I bought it! In many cases, the live versions are FAR better, especially the guitar-work on "You and Your Friend". As a guitarist, I pay special attention to that instrument. If you want to hear Knopfler's predecessor, get some of JJ Cale's electric stuff. It'll knock you out.brewnog said:Mmm, I love the little guitar riff after that line!
