Hi everyone. I have written similar threads about this in the past, but I thought that now would be a good time to revive this topic (as a snapshot of STEM demand, if you will). So I would like to ask the following questions:
1. Which STEM fields are actually in demand in the US as of 2015?
2. Which STEM fields have positions that are available to graduates (in the US, or graduates elsewhere who are seeking jobs in the US) immediately upon graduation? (i.e. entry level positions)
3. Which STEM fields will most likely be in demand within the next 4-5 years (the span by which most people would earn a BS degree)? Within 6 years? (the span by which people would earn a MS degree)? Within the next 8-10 years (the span by which most people who quality would earn a PhD)?
