A US IP address appearing in netstat results may indicate that the computer is connecting to a server or service located in the US. This could be due to various reasons, such as the default settings of the operating system or applications that connect to US-based servers. Users should check their network settings and the location of their Internet Service Provider (ISP) to understand the source of the IP address. Additionally, it may be helpful to review any active applications that could be routing traffic through US servers. Understanding these factors can clarify why a US IP address is displayed.
