The same town even has a library built on the border - the border runs through the reading room.

The international boundary is marked on the floor of the reading room of the Haskell Library. In this picture, Canada is on the right side and the United States is on the left.

You know how when you were a kid your little brother/sister would touch your half of the car seat - isn't it cute when countries do the same?

Some people have their backyards in Canada. Will they be arrested too if they go out there? Ah man, there's no fences or anything? Here I was thinking we were heavily guarded from the Americans.

The only border crossings I've seen in person is one in Niagra and one in Quebec just before New Brunswick which also requires going through border patrol.
