I would call the guy a moron but that would unfair to morons. The arrogant fool is lucky the cops busted him because the drug dealers would not have been so nice.
 
I don't know what to make of this story. It seems he was obsessed with this model in the same way he was with his physics. He can't stop computing outcomes of everything and he seemed to know something wasn't right with the luggage and took it anyway. It seems he reverts to child mode when caught.

Yeah I googled it. If I were him, I would have found it hard not to obey every single one of her commands. She is all kinds of beautiful...ALL kinds. Woooooow
 
She's happily married and living with her husband and son. That guy is a freekin idiot. He never tried to verify the identity of the person he was e-mailing, and never talked to the person.

Yet he was willing to fly to South America and transport an "empty" suitcase, even after a friend of his warned him that drugs were likely hidden in it.

How dumb can a person get?

I live in Argentina since 2006, what happened to this guy is a nightmare.
Recently there's been a model (I guess "narcomodelo" would show her in google) involved in a cocaine mule crime. If I remember well it was her boyfriend who passed the drug while she was fully aware. She's free.

Why disparage the model she had nothing to do with it? Someone used her name, fame and image to commit a crime. She too is a victim in this sad story.

I was just giving my opinion of her because how contrasting it was to WannabeNewton's opinion.
The reason why I assume the above has to do with the typical motivations for getting a breast implant.

Nevertheless it is wrong to think this way. She is not part of this discussion so let's not continue talking about her. The discussion is on the article about Prof Frampton, what he did and the trouble he got into. It seems that to be a genius in one area means that you lack commonsense in other areas.

Firstly, I didn't say anyone that had plastic surgery has a shallow personality. I said that anyone that had plastic surgery and got breast implants probably has a fake personality.

Why is it wrong/sad for someone to hold an opinion like this? Because I'm making an assumption or preemptive judgement?

What motivation can there be to get breast implants other than for shallow reasons?

There could be very good reasons, but you'll only know them if you talk to the people. Maybe people get a breast augmentation to stop bullies?? Such things do happen. Or maybe the girls have a very low self-esteem and try to make themselves feel happier?? Are those shallow reasons?

This is why I emphasize probably. There could be non-shallow reasons for breast augmentation which is why I don't make a definite judgement.

Also, if you're curious about my stance on racial profiling, I think it is immoral. Why? Because race is something that you have no control of. Your actions, however, you have control over. You are aware of possible consequences before performing the action and that it might affect the way others perceive you. For example: I am not OK with women having a disadvantage in getting some positions related to STEM. However, for example, I am OK with someone that might have tattooed his face having a possible disadvantage at getting a position for being too unprofessional.
